What?
-
Improved production of all Blast Wheel Models to prevent parts from grinding against each other while in use.
HOW?
-
Used root sum squared methodology to stack up the added tolerances which estimates gaps and places where moving parts may rub.
-
Used data to adjust tolerances checked by quality.
RESULTS
-
Saved both time and money by refining tolerances of critical parts and removing the possibility of moving pieces coming into contact which halts production.

What?
-
Designed a Dual-Deploy Rocket that releases a probe at apogee (3000 ft).
-
Lands on deployable legs and takes a 360 degree panoramic photo of the surrounding area.
-
Collaborated with a team of 6.
HOW?
-
Researched, modeled, and printed internal electronic mounts as well as external camera mount.
-
Performed preliminary ejection tests on Rocket before launch.
-
Used Rocksim for flight information.
Results
-
Probe successfully deployed at apogee.
-
Film of launch was obtained from constructed camera mount.
-
Flight matched Rocksim estimate.

What?
-
Designed, built, coded, tested, and competed to create a light seeking robot that finds a light and then flips a switch in a 1 meter by 1 meter box.
-
The arena had 8 light switches that changed at random.
HOW?
-
Worked with SOLIDWORKS and Arduino paired with MATLAB to design an Arduino powered robot.
-
Developed numerous prototypes for the switch flipper arm.
-
Ran many trials to fine tune light sensitivity and adjusted.

Results
-
Successfully flipped 8 switches in 2 minutes.
-
Achieved a 95% success rate per switch.

What?
-
Estimated cost of laser cutting a bone saw used for ACL surgeries in canines.
-
Scrap from laser cut is money lost.
HOW?
-
Used MATLAB to estimate cost and cut time for new bone saw method.
-
Checked results with SOLIDWORKS.

Results
-
Cost of saw was $6.36
-
Cost of scrap was $10.38
-
Offered a more cost effective method to laser-cut saws.
